broken images in checkout

hi all..

using in test mode at the mo...

during most of the site the images directory is
/acatalog/test/acatalog/example.gif

however, when i go to the checkout the images are broken and the path is
/test/acatalog/example.gif

ie the first/acatalog/ is removed.

The page for adding the item to the cart has java script errors on it, which might or might not be part of the issue, but thought you should know.

Do you have the referrer code in the templates to keep the connections consistant as this seems to be a regular for some reason.
