Under "Discounts Code and Surcharges" in the Marketing Menu, I only have 2 tabs "Order Level" and "Misc"

Im lead to believe that I can have the "Requires Coupon Code" available, as well as "Cart Contents" and "Customer Pricing"

Which I can not see how to enable this. Any ideas?

I have 3 left sidebar boxes, which are automatically the same appearance. However, I would like the top one, which is the shop sections, to stand out by being in a different colour. I cannot find a way of changing this without changing all 3. I located the item in the stylesheet and this changes all of them. Any ideas?

Need to display total of order on a page - NETQUOTEVAR:TOTAL doesnt work, if I echo this it just says NETQUOTEVAR:TOTAL

Also tried NETQUOTEVAR:FORMATTEDORDERTOTALHTML - nearly right, but puts £ sign at front - ahhhhh! lol

Need a NETQUOTEVAR that puts the correct value on screen, with pounds and pence for exaple 14.94 and no currency symbol.

Anyone know which one to use?

I've been advised that Datacash are experiencing some ongoing service issues, mostly with their gatekeeper service but also with some impact to real time fraud scoring.

At this point this has had NO IMPACT on our integrated service that i can see, but I wanted to let you know of the issue and the possibility for some delayed fraud scoring as a result

I'm trying to drag our Internet offerings into the 21st Century and having recently upgraded all of our machines to V11 business+ multi-user (and what a headache that was / is) I'm seriously wondering if after about 7 years of service Actinic is right for our business.

One of the biggest issues I have is order aggregation, or indeed any sort of integration. Like may we use multi-channel (Ebay, Amazon etc.) sales and as the volume grows it's becoming a nightmare to control stock etc.

I know Actinic has RTSC but there's no clarity on the threads here whether this works with external software and I can't see anywhere on the Knowledge base that explains how this works.

I'm sure I must have missed something, I'd be really interested if anybody has any tips on how integration with other platforms can be achieved or is it a question of biting the bullet and switching to software that's supported by 3rd party integration providers.

Before starting, it is recommended you ensure your computer is fully up to date via Windows update otherwise installation may fail. To do this go to Start | Control panel | Windows update. After installing updates, check again to see if there are anymore and install then, repeat this process until there are no updates left.

1. The first screen you will see when running the SQL Server installer is the ‘SQL Server Installation Centre’. Here you choose how to plan an install, perform an install, maintain or repair an install etc
   
   
   
   
2. You want to choose the ‘Installation’ option from the list on the left:
   
   
   
   
   and then ‘New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation’ from the main screen.
   
   
3. This will open a new window, which begins the setup wizard. The first screen prompts you to install and setup support rules:
   
   
   
   
   Ideally you want to see a list of ticks as in the image above. Press OK when complete.
   
   
4. The next screen prompts you for your product key. This will determine if you have ‘Standard’, ‘Developer’, ‘Enterprise’, ‘Workgroup’ etc
   
   
   
   
   Press Next
   
   
5. You now need to agree to the Microsoft Software Licence Terms
   
   
   
   
   Tick the box and press Next
   
   
6. Now SQL Server needs to setup the Support Files
   
   
   
   
7. Press Install
   
   
   
   
   Again, you want to see a list of ticks. If there are any failures or warnings, you will be able to view the details by clicking the link on the right.
   
   When done, press Next
   
   
8. The next screen is the ‘Feature Selection’. For Actinic, you only need ‘Database Engine Services’ and ‘Management Tools – Complete’.
   
   
   
   
   But you can choose more options if you want. When you have selected the features, press Next
   
   
9. Now we are at the point of the ‘Instance Configuration’. Each install of SQL Server is called an ‘Instance’. You can have multiple instances of SQL Server installed.
   
   It is suggested that you use a ‘Named Instance’ rather than the default.
   
   
   
   
   Choose a name and then press Next
   
   
10. The next screen tells you how much disk space is required to install this new Instance of SQL Server
    
    
    
    
    Press Next
    
    
11. Now we come to the ‘Server Configuration’ screen. Choose an option from the ‘Account Name’ column and make sure the ‘Startup Type’ is ‘Automatic’
    
    
    
    
    Press Next
    
    
12. There are a few things to do on the ‘Database Engine Configuration’ screen. The first is to select ‘Mixed Mode’ in the ‘Account Provisioning’ tab.
    
    Now choose a password for the built in SQL Server administrator account. The built in username is ‘sa’ (lowercase).
    Then click the ‘Add Current User’ button to add yourself as an administrator by default.
    
    
    
    
    Now click the ‘Data Directories’ tab
    
    
    
    
    This is where you can set the default directories used for storing the SQL data files (i.e. the databases themselves and the log files etc) and also where the default backup directories are.
    
    You can leave them as default, which is within the installation directory in Program Files or you can set a different location.
    
    When you are happy, press Next
    
    
13. The ‘Error and Usage Reporting’ screen is next
    
    
    
    
    Choose if you want to send reports to Microsoft or not, and press Next
    
    
14. Now we come to the ‘Installation Rules’ screen
    
    
    
    
    Again, we want to see a list of ticks. Press Next when complete
    
    
15. The ‘Ready to Install’ screen gives you a summary of your chosen options for this new instance of SQL Server
    
    
    
    
    Press Install
    
    
16. Again, we want to see ticks at the end of the ‘Installation Progress’
    
    
    
    
    Press Next
    
    
17. Your SQL Server installation is now complete
    
    
    
    Press close to complete the wizard. You can now begin to configure SQL Server with Actinic

I'm looking at producing a link from Actinic Desktop to Facebook and have so far found three apps that looking interesting :

Storefront social - lists products and links to Actinic cart for checkout, charges by monthly subscription

Moonfruit - fully functional facebook / mobile shop, customers pay with paypal, free version for small shops. monthly payments above.

Payvment - fully functional facebook shop, customers pay with paypal, 1 shop free, unlimited proucts, charges for additional or enhanced shops.

Does anyone use these, or use any other facebook shop apps.

i tried to optimize my site by reading google guidelines and different articles on internet but its not working properly. Than i use WebCEO software and follow its guide lines but the results are not as i want. I am trying to optimise my site for these keywords:

I need to automatically format a large number of lists of items (features, included items...).

I have looked at the List Layout mechanism and it seems that this would suit well. I need to know the best way of storing the list items so that they can have the List Layout applied to them.

I am looking for advise please.

I have followed the instructions in the Advanced User Guide, originating from this community, to add images to the list of choices for a product. This works well and I am pleased. However: I have these displaying with 4 columns and radio buttons, and the length of the text of the choice name varies, so the images do not line up under each other, are all over the place, and it looks bad. I have tried to come up with a satisfactory way of handling this but to no avail. My brilliant daughter (works for the Dark Side) came up with the obvious suggestion to have the image to the left of the text. However, can't see a way of doing this in Actinic. Any ideas?
