actinic 6 needing upgraded...

we currently use the e commerce actinic 6 for our website but now feel the need to upgrade, we have obviously looked at actinic 9 and have downloaded the free trial can anyone who has done this please advise of any great benefits i would get or any issues i may come across if i did it??

Take a look around the existing threads such as this one.

You'd be greatly benefitted by using the most up to date software since V6 has little in the way of marketing features and you cannot make use of things such as newer payment service providers and features that make the general use of the software easier, quicker and better. Plus V6 is no longer supported by Actinic.

Although bear in mind if you upgrade a customised layout from V6 then the upgrade process does tend to mess with the templates in most cases, something hinted on in that post I linked to.
