Eclear problems - anyone else?

Eclear appear to have stopped authorising payments for our site. We have tried ringing every number we have got for them and emailing them, but never get a reply or a return call.

BMS say (back end of last week) that they are still processing stuff for eclear - so it appears they are still around.

Is anyone else having problems with eclear, or know whats going on or even have a contact number other than the 6216 or the 87411224?

Hi there

You can find E-clears contact details by clicking Information and Registration, when you configure the payment method in View | Business settings...

Or by going to this address http://www.eclear.net/actinic/

E-Clear problems

Thanks for reply, tried all contact methods, they will NOT reply, What do we do now, any ideas. Payment processing has now ceased. We are getting orders but no money.

hi James,
Yes you probably spoke to a receptionist, who does not work for Eclear, She tries to put you through but can only get an answer machine. Don't bother leaving a message they will not get back. Apparantly there is only one guy from eclear there, Alexis or somebody, (according to receptionist) and he only appears some days. I have left messages and emails since Dec 12th 2004 and have not had one reply yet. Surely someone else out there is having problems with E-Clear. We have had no payments go through since 1st Feb. Heeeeelp

I Think that Actinic should look seriously into this problem as you are promoting on your site as a PSP, yet no-one can contact Eclear

Its not really Actinic's problem. You have a contract with Eclear, Actinic simply provide the interface.

However if Eclear have gonme out of business then I am sure Actinic will take the integration out of the software.

You have to take the decision of whether you are going to contunue to use EClear or move to a different PSP. My feeling is if they are not paying you, then do you want to continue to ship orders which you may not get money for.

Bit of a strange one this, I mean under the sale of goods act technically you own the items until you have been paid for them. I would leave a message and tell them that unless contact is made your going to have no option other than make contact with the police, as it appears money is being stolen. Drastic I know, but I certainly would not accept the position. I wouldn't hesitate either, I would change providers right away.

E-Clear problems

I would love to know if Andy got through to a real person at Eclear (Not the receptionist -bless her- I 've given her some stick), but she is nothing to do with E-Clear except put calls through to an answer machine.. Remember I have been trying that phone number for nearly 2 months now. Maybe if Andy can get through to a human being he would ask them to give me a call/fax/email/smoke signal/morse/anything in fact message to sort out my problem. (Or at least get a name from them)
I appreciate that eclear are nothing to do with Actinic and you boys have done what you have done, but i am still no closer to a resolution than before

Yes Andy was speaking to a Elias Elia, who works in E-Clear. I did mentioned this in my previous post with telephone numbers, so you could have phoned and spoken to him about your issue.
