Red face CGI script errors

Hi there,
I finally worked out how to fix the paths etc but now have another problem

i try to upload to my site and all goes well until i get to merging files on the sever.

i then get this error

One of the required scripts isn't present on the web site. Please refresh your website

which i do and get the error again

Iknow the scripts are on the website because i manually uploaded them.

I just did a test and got the following error

Actinic Ecommerce is not able to run the CGI scripts on the server. It appears as if the scripts are not installed. The most likely cause is that you have an incorrect CGI-BIN URL. If you've never uploaded the site, then you should do it before a download of orders. If you've uploaded the site ever, then Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to review your web site configuration.

i clicked ok and then got this error

The web server returned error code 404 - Requested URL not found. This means Actinic Ecommerce can not execute the CGI scripts on your web site. Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to check the web setup.

I have attached my setup file.
On my ftp site i have the following folders

data

htdocs including index file

acatalog including html & cat files

cgi-bin including PM & PL files

shouldn't all my HTML files be under the htdocs folder?

I'm with a ISP in Australia called cyberone

my website is www.jacyscomputers.com.au (at least it will be eventually)

Cheers & Thanks again

Jacy

your catalog url is wrong

you should have http://www.jacyscomputers.com.au/htdocs/acatalog .........without cgi-bib

Maybe the path from cgi-bin to acatalog needs to be ../acatalog

Hi Jo,
Thanks for replying.

I changed the settings you suggested and still got this error

"Actinic Ecommerce is not able to run the CGI scripts on the server. It appears as if the scripts are not installed. The most likely cause is that you have an incorrect CGI-BIN URL. If you've never uploaded the site, then you should do it before a download of orders. If you've uploaded the site ever, then Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to review your web site configuration."

I click ok and get this error

"The web server returned error code 404 - Requested URL not found. This means Actinic Ecommerce can not execute the CGI scripts on your web site. Run Web | Configure Web Site Details... to check the web setup."

I have attached my updated settings.

sorry!! I'm being dumb here, must be because its a Bank Holiday w/end....

take the htdocs out of the catalog URL and the CGI-BIN URL. ie the top left 2 boxes

Also make sure your permissions are 755 on the cgi-bin

Hi Jo,
I removed the htdocs with no joy
How would i make sure i have the 755 permissions on the cgi-bin?

While testing in the network setup i now get this error

"Unable to move to the acatalog directory "../" on the FTP server possibly due to a mistake in the Path from CGI-BIN to acatalog Directory field.
The parameter is incorrect."

Cheers,

Jacy
